Nahorlogon, (Arunachal Pradesh), Sep 21 (ANI): Reports of Chinese incursions is not only a hot news in New Delhi and Beijing, but is also taking centre stage in Arunachal Pradesh, which goes to polls next month.
The state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday criticised the UPA Government for not taking preventive action against Chinese incursions.
Releasing its manifesto ahead of the election the BJP leader Lichi Legi claimed that Congress is not at all concerned about the people and their safety.
State Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu termed China's claim on Arunachal Pradesh as rubbish.
"China is our friendly neighbour. Almost 1200 kilometres of our area is adjoined to the China border. They keep on claiming Arunachal Pradesh as their part, which is wrong," Khandu said.
"From centuries, Tibet and we share the same border. We have no border issues with China. China's claim on Arunachal is all bogus," said Dorjee Khandu."
Elections will be held in Arunachal Pradesh on October 13. (ANI)
