Hazaribagh, June 14 (ANI): A day after resigning from all party posts held by him and writing a letter of resentment to Party President Rajnath Singh asking him to ensure responsibility for party's electoral debacle, Senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha on Sunday said he would remain in the party.
"I had sent my resignation to be accepted. Therefore I'm happy that my resignation has been accepted," said Sinha while adding that he would continue to be in the BJP. "Of course, I'm in the party. I will be in the party."
On Saturday, former Finance Minister had resigned as the party's Vice President and from other posts held by him.
Sinha, who was apparently upset over the party's chief election strategist Arun Jaitley being made the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, said in the letter: "It is difficult to avoid the impression that in the BJP we put a premium on failure."
Yashwant Sinha recently won in Lok Sabha elections from the Hazaribagh Constituency of Jharkhand. (ANI)
