Maoists obstruct government’s connectivity ambitions in tribal areas of Jharkhand
Latehar (Jharkhand), June 09 (ANI): Naxals, the anti-establishment insurgents, have been persistent in their efforts of bringing government’s developmental programmes to a halt. People in Latehar district of Jharkhand are facing numerous problems owing to the absence of a motorable connectivity in the region. Despite efforts of authorities, a bituminous road is a distant dream for the people of the region. Earlier, they vandalized and blazed construction machines. People’s rejection of the left-radical ideology and sustained efforts of the security forces of the country have further pushed Naxals on the back foot. Their territory is rapidly shrinking, leaving them perplexed.
