Lung cancer mortality rate among women may spike by 40% by 2030
New Delhi, Aug 02 (ANI): According to a new research study, lung cancer mortality rates among women could increase by 43 per cent by 2030. These findings have been analysed from the data from 52 countries. At another point, the global age-standardised breast cancer mortality rate is calculated to decrease by 9 per cent in the same time frame. Globally, among women, the mortality rate for lung cancer is projected to increase from 11.2 per cent in 2015 to 16.0 per cent in 2030; Europe and Oceania have shown the highest lung cancer mortality rates in 2030, while America and Asia projects the lowest lung cancer mortality rates in 2030.
