Asian Games 2018: Indian women’s & men’s hockey team receive grand welcome at Delhi airport
New Delhi, Sep 02 (ANI): The Indian women’s and men’s hockey team who won Silver and Bronze medals respectively at the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia received a grand welcome at Delhi airport on Sunday. Indian women’s hockey team defeated Cthree time champion China 1-0 to reach finals. But the team lost to Japan and came home with silver. Indian men’s hockey team defeated Pakistan to win a consolation bronze. Indian men’s hockey team started their Asiad campaign strongly by registering huge wins by defeating Indonesia 17-0, Hong Kong 26-0, Japan 8-0, Korea 5-3 and Sri Lanka 20-0.
