11-year-old writes exam with toes, tops class

Ludhiana (Punjab), Apr 12 (ANI): 11 Year old Kamaljeet Singh in Saholi village of India’s North Indian state of Punjab has become an inspiration to thousands living in his village. Kamaljeet, who was born with dysfunctional arms and malformed feet, recently topped his writing exams with only two functional toes of his right foot. The gifted child uses a special slanted wooden board to rest his notebooks and sits on a dhurrie laid out on the classroom floor with his legs stretched out as he diligently takes notes with a pen tucked between his toes. A teacher is always responsible for the upliftment of students and Kamaljeet’s teachers were no different, they had helped him learn and write with his toes and now he even paints and draws with his toes. Kamaljeet's teachers helped him learn to write with his toes and now he even paints and draws with his toes. He is also fond of singing and playing sports. Singh never gave up on hard work, and he was awarded with a gold medal by his school. Born in a family with humble means, Singh's treatment is progressing slowly and his parents hope he will be cured soon.
