Maoist who have abducted the Biju Janta Dal lawmaker Jhina Hikaka has refused the govt. plea that the deadline fixed, as 5th April should be extend. Even Odisha govt. has urged the Maoist to come forward and engage in a negotiation but Maoist has refused to do so.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has urged the Maoist to come forward and talk for negotiation and extend the fixed deadline of 5th April. But Maoist organisation who has been abducted the BJD MLA Jhina Hikaka has said in reply that first govt. should release innocent tribals who are in jail.
Nachika Linga, rebel-backed Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangh (CMAS) president has to be invited by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to come forward and talk for negotiation. Patnaik has said that our govt. is ready to discuss the matter and release of certain CMAS members.
Even govt. has appealed the outfit to release the MLS Hikaka and extend the fixed deadline.
Meanwhile sources say that rebels are not ready to negotiate and refused to extend the deadline of 5th April.
Andhra Odisha Border Special Zonal Committee of CPI (Maoist) (AOBSZC) in an audio message to the media today rejected proposal for talks and set April 5 as the deadline.
