Two days police custody for the Doctor couple

Delhi Police has nabbed the Doctor couple for two days who have been on their Thailand trip after confining a minor made in their house. It was alleged that they have tortured physically and mentally to the maid. Police arrested the couple earlier in Rajouri Garden and presented in the court.

According to sources accused Sanjay verma and his wife Sumita have locked their 13 years maid in their house and gone to Thailand for a trip. It was alleged that there was not enough food for the girl and she was unable to bear hungry then her neighbour notices her and informed the police.

Although it is a achievement for the Delhi police because it was not confirm regarding their return to Delhi. But Police arrested them finally and presented them in the Dwarka Court.

A first information report had been filed against the couple under the Juvenile Justice Act, Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, Child Labour Prohibition and Regulation Act and the Indian Penal Code.(With inputs from IANS)
