Yasin Malik and Swami Agnivesh detained by J-K police
Srinagar, April 18 (ANI): The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik and Arya Samaj leader Swami Agnivesh were detained by Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday. The two were arrested while they were marching towards Narbal where a youngster was killed on Saturday morning. Malik is also on a 30-hour long hunger strike in protest against the proposed separate township for Kashmiri Pandits in the valley. The youngster succumbed to his injuries after the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel fired at protesters in Narbal. The Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani had called for a strike following the arrest of separatist leader Masarat Alam.
