UP Police set up ‘Anti Romeo’ squad to protect women
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 22 (ANI): In view of recent women molestation incidents in Uttar Pradesh, the police on Tuesday started an ‘Anti Romeo Squad’ to prevent harassment. Throwing light on the event, Additional Superintendent of Police (Lucknow East) Shiv Ram Yadav said: However, UP police took this decision just two days after Yogi Adityanath took oath as Chief Minister of the state. Women protection is one of the paramount issue which Bhartiya Janta Party hailed in the state during its election campaigning.
