Threats trigger exodus of NE people from Mumbai
Mumbai, Aug 17 (ANI): Thousands of fear struck people, hailing from northeastern states, are fleeing from Mumbai fearing of backlash over violence against Muslims in Assam and Myanmar. The violence has angered Muslims around the world and raised tension. One of the natives from northeast said that the Muslims were threatening their community of dire consequences, whipping up fear psychosis. Another local said that students in several parts of the country were being targeted.
