Team of First All India Services Expedition meets PM Modi
New Delhi, March 27 (ANI): A five-member team, which will embark on the first All India Services Expedition to Mount Everest, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. The team consists of five civil servants, including two officers from Indian Police Service (IPS), two officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and one Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer. The team will be led by Saroj Kumari, an IPS officer of 2011 batch. As per media reports, the team is expected to leave for the base camp in Nepal on March 29 and the final summit attempt will be made in May. The mountaineers will also carry the banner of Modi's pet project of 'Swachh Bharat', or 'Clean India', to the peak.
