Taliban diktat: Medical College asks girls not to wear leggings, short tops, jeans
Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 22 (ANI): A circular issued by the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College issuing a dress code for girls has stirred a controversy. The circular asks girls not to wear leggings, short tops or jeans on the campus. Confederation of Medical College Doctors President Dr. Santhosh Kumar said there was nothing wrong if an institution was coming up with a dress code. With most of the students as well teachers opposing it, Chairperson State Youth Commission Chintha Jerom said she will seek clarification from the authorities.
