Sonia Gandhi hosts iftar party
New Delhi, July 27 (ANI): Congress President Sonia Gandhi hosted an iftar party at Delhi's posh Ashoka Hotel on Sunday for the political leaders, both Muslims as well as Hindus. High dignitaries of politics came to attend the function, including Salman Khurshid, Ambika Soni, Anand Sharma, Rajiv Shukla among others. RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and JD (U) President Sharad Yadav were also present with Gandhi at the iftar ceremony. Iftar, refers to the evening meal when Muslims end their fast at the time of sunset, during the Islamic month of Ramadan. Meanwhile, UP Governor Ram Naik also hosted iftar party in capital city of Lucknow.
