Snowflakes in northern India enthrall tourists
Manali/Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), Feb 13 (ANI): Draped in a pristine blanket of white, Manali and Shimla, the hill resorts in northern state of Himachal Pradesh saw tourists making merry and frolic, courtesy a spell of fresh snowfall in the region. During the last 24 hours, Kharapathar, Narkanda and Kufri towns received 40 to 80 centimeters of fresh snowfall while Shimla got over 20 centimeters of snow. Tourists were seen dancing in snow and wore multi-layered clothes. While having the aesthetic pleasure of the picturesque beauty, trippers were seen enjoying the weather by dancing and throwing snowballs at each other. Temperature in New Delhi and Punjab has also dropped down due to the sleets resulting in a pleasant weather.
