Situation in Bangalore and Assam under control: RK Singh
New Delhi, Aug 17 (ANI): Union Home Secretary, R. K. Singh, has downplayed incidents of fresh violence in Assam, terming them as isolated. Singh told mediapersons in New Delhi there had been two incidents of violence that had been triggered by armed miscreants in a car who did not cooperate with security personnel when stopped for a check, but that otherwise the situation in the state was under control. He also asserted that the situation in Bangalore is fully under control.
