Silver will do a lot for judo in Britain: Gibbons

London, Aug 03 (ANI): British judoka Gemma Gibbons said her Olympic silver medal in the womens 78kg final, Britains first in judo since 2000, would do a lot to help the sport in the UK. Gibbons, the world number 33 and rank outsider, lost to Americas Kayla Harrison. Gibbons added that she had been inspired by the British rowing pair Heather Stanning and Helen Glover who won gold in their event.
