Shimla bakes at 25.6 degree Celsius, records highest temperature in 7 years

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), Mar 29 (ANI): Shimla, capital city of hill state Himachal Pradesh, recorded the highest temperature in seven years with the maximum temperature recorded at 25.6 degree Celsius on Tuesday. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted warm climate for the next two days and western disturbance is also expected in the first week of April, which would result in temperatures coming down. Other parts of the state which recorded maximum day temperature were Sundernagar at 33.4 degree Celsius, Bhunter 28.7 degree Celsius, Dharamshala 26.8 degree Celsius, Nahan recorded a maximum of 32.2 degree Celsius and Solan at 30.6 degree Celsius.
