Raj Thackeray holds march against Mumbai violence
Mumbai, Aug 21 (ANI): Regional party, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena today took out a massive rally in protest against the recent violence in Mumbai. Thousands of MNS activists and other supporters gathered on the roads and at the citys Azad Maidan, along with party chief Raj Thackeray. Thackeray, while addressing the crowd at the Azad Maidan, demanded city police commissioner Arup Patnaik and state home minister R. R. Patils resignation. Thackeray also added that the police personnel were beaten and harassed by the protestors only because they were not given the order to retaliate.
