Rahul Dravid reacts to retirement of Laxman
Bangalore, Aug 22 (ANI): Cricket fans of Bangalore happened to hear the candid comments from Rahul Dravid on VVS Laxman with whom he had etched and rewritten memorable records in the annals of both Test and domestic cricket. Commenting on Laxmans recent announcement of retirement from international arena, Dravid said that he has been an inspiration to all young players in the squad, be it the state and zonal or national one. On Sachin Tendulkars retirement plans, Dravid said that the legendary batsman shoulders great responsibility and is living up to it. Better known as The Wall for his deft defence, Dravid observed that it was time to move on after the stylish Laxman stunned the followers of the game, despite his selection for the two Test series against New Zealand.
