Private company accountant robbed of Rs 1.8 crore outside bank in Ghaziabad
Ghaziabad, June 02 (ANI): An accountant of a private construction company was on Tuesday looted of Rs 1.8 crore outside an Oriental Bank of Commerce branch in Ghaziabad by 3-4 unidentified men. The armed robbers fired gunshots looted the accountant. After firing several shots, they snatched the bags carrying cash and sped away in a white i10 car. No one was hurt in the incident. The bank branch in the plush Raj Nagar area stands next to the official residences of Ghaziabad's senior superintendent of police, development authority vice-chairman and senior district administration officials. Ghaziabad SSP Dharmendra Singh said that the police have eh CCTV footage and that an investigation is on to examine the footage.
