Power blackout: Normalcy returns

New Delhi/Patna, Aug 01 (ANI): Life was seen limping back to normalcy today after a major system collapse led to the country s worst power failure in history. By nightfall, power was back in New Delhi and much of the north, but a senior official said only a third was restored in Uttar Pradesh. Passengers at the New Delhi railway station said that trains were running six seven hours behind schedule. By mid evening, services had been restored on the New Delhi metro system. Similarly in Patna, situation returned to normal today as passengers said more or less the trains were running on time.
