Politicos welcome SCs verdict on Kasab
New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): The political and the legal fraternity today welcomed the Supreme Courts judgement uphelding 26/11 accused Ajmal Kasabs death sentence in the Mumbai terror attack case. Welcoming the judgement BJP leader Balbir Punj termed it as a landmark verdict and expressed hopes that the UPA II doesnt get guided by the vote bank politics and execute the judgement speedily. However, Congress leader Digvijay Singh also welcomed the verdict and said that justice should be delivered as soon as possible and there shouldnt be any delay. Gopal Subramaniam, a lawyer for the prosecution, told reporters that the apex court has confirmed the findings on the scrutiny of the evidence.
