People missing after boat capsizes in Uttar Pradesh
Kushinagar, May 04 (ANI): Around 3 to 4 people went missing after a boat carrying them capsized in a river in Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh. The incident happened late on Sunday night when the boat carrying the residents and their vehicles was crossing the Narayani river of Kushinagar. District Magistrate, Lokesh M, said that his team is trying to find more about the incident. A team of local police officers and divers rushed to the spot to rescue the missing people. One of the passengers, Kamlesh Kushwaha, managed to swim across the river and reached the dry ground to safety. Meanwhile, state legislator, Ajay Kumar, blamed the administration for not acting promptly.
