Pawar, Ramesh visit drought hit Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Aug 11 (ANI): Union agriculture minister Sharad Pawar and rural development minister Jairam Ramesh visited Chandigarh to assess the drought situation in the worst hit northern state of Punjab and Haryana. Speaking to the media persons, Pawar listed alarming figures of the rainwater shortfall in the states, which had received less than one third of the expected rainfall.
