PM praises parties for unanimous support to NE people
New Delhi, Aug 17 (ANI): Congratulating the opposition parties for speaking with great restraint on the northeast issue in Parliament, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that all parties would together ensure that citizens from the northeast are safe in all parts of the country. He also said that Assam riots shouldnt be used to stoke violence elsewhere. He further added that the unity and integrity of country is at stake and everyone must work together to create an atmosphere in which the people of northeast feel at home in all parts of the country.
