PM Modi meets Barack Obama on sidelines of COP21

Paris, Nov 30 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi met United States President Barack Obama on the sidelines of COP21 in Paris on Monday. The Prime Minister said that protecting our planet and nature is a priority for India. He added that India has proposed some big targets in Intended Nationally Determined Contributions and that he is hopeful India will fulfill its responsibilities. Modi and Hollande are scheduled to launch international solar alliance later in the day, aimed at eventually bringing clean and affordable solar energy within the reach of all. During the conference, India's 25-member delegation will focus on Prime Minister Modi's call for 'Climate Justice' that he had made in his address at the United Nations General Assembly last month.
