PM Modi launches DD Kisan channel for farmers
New Delhi, May 26 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday launched DD Kisan channel for farmers. Modi said that the channel was extremely essential for farmers to keep themselves updated about the new technologies and methods of easy farming. He said that Lal Bahadur Shastri had given the slogan of 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan' which encouraged the farmers and produce per hectare increased tremendously. Modi said that if we want to take our country ahead we will have to take our farmers ahead too.
