PM Modi distances himself from Mufti Mohammed Sayeed's remark on JandK Polls
New Delhi, March 03 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday distanced himself from remark of Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, where he credited Pakistan, separatists and militants for successful elections in the state. Modi, while speaking to lawmakers in the Rajya Sabha, said the government would function on the basis of the common minimum programme and not statements, adding that government has zero tolerance for militancy. Meanwhile, Modi thanked the people of Jammu and Kashmir for unprecedented voting in December polls.
