PM Modi acknowledges tribals' contribution at first tribal carnival
New Delhi, Oct 25 (ANI): After inaugurating nation's first National Tribal Carnival, Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged the tribes' contribution in preserving the forests across the country. Lauding the tribals for the ability to cheer in difficulties, the Prime Minister pitched for the need of escalating their economic condition. The carnival kicked off at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in the national capital on Tuesday. The event, which aims to promote a sense of inclusiveness among the tribals, will showcase and promote their cultural heritage on a large scale. Over 1600 artists and around 8,000 delegates from the community are expected to participate in the carnival.
