Officials on alert, support being provided to those affected in earthquake: Nitish Kumar
Patna, April 25 (ANI): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday said that all the officials are alert and are on the field to provide necessary help and support to those affected by the earthquake. He added that as per the latest reports, the death toll in Bihar has reached 25 and some 133 people have been injured. Massive tremors were felt in the national capital and throughout North India that lasted between 30 seconds to over four minutes. According to reports, the epicentre of the tremors was said to be in Pokhra, Nepal, with the European Mediterranean Seismological Center stating that the earthquake measured 7.4 on the Richter scale.
