Murder on the high sea: Probe begins
New Delhi, July 17 (ANI): Indian consulate in Dubai today began probe into the killing of an Indian fisherman, when a US Navy ship fired at his small boat off the UAE coast. According to media reports External Affairs Minister S M Krishna has sought details of the incident where three other fishermen were also injured and has directed Indian officials in UAE to look into the matter with utmost urgency. He also spoke to the ambassador in Dubai and asked him to ensure the return of the fishermans body and also to provide medical care for the injured. Meanwhile, BJP has asked the central government to take a tough stand on the incident.
