Mary Kom receives rousing reception in New Delhi
New Delhi, Aug 14 (ANI): Olympics bronze medallist boxer and Indias five time world champion Mary Kom today received a rousing reception on her arrival in New Delhi from the sporting gala. The 29 year old mother of two bagged bronze medal in the womens 51 kg flyweight event after defeating Tunisias Maroua Rahali. Kom received a warm welcome at the airport for bringing laurels to the country and was received with beating drums, garlands and shawls from her fans. Kom led the front page of newspapers for securing a bronze that guaranteed her country its biggest medal haul.
