MNS Rally: Raj Thackeray leads the way, traffic stands still

Mumbai, Aug 21 (ANI): Huge traffic jams ensued around Azad Maidan in South Mumbai today with MNS Chief Raj Thackeray arriving at Girgaum Chowpatty, from where the MNS plans to march about five kilometres to their protest venue. The protest comes in the wake of the recent violence at the ground that resulted in the death of two people. Thousands of MNS supporters gathered right in the middle of the road, bringing traffic to a standstill. The MNS has demanded the resignation of state Home Minister RR Patil and Police Commissioner Arup Patnaik for the riot at the Azad Maidan earlier this month.
