MIR on Bengali Film Song GUNTI from MUKTODHARA (2012) Bangla Movie

In this interview from Interview Feature from WBRi (http://www.WashingtonBanglaRadio.com) Mir describes how music director Surojit Chatterjee, a pal of Mir for over 18 years, initially approached Mir to sing the song GUNTI along with Raghav and Shilajit. It turned out to be a very very different experience as the song GUNTI is situational, portraying conversation between prison inmates. Its got a different feel altogether, says Mir.Muktodhara is directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee (Icche) and stars Nigel Akkara (Vicky), Rituparna Sengupta, Bratya Basu, Debshankar Halder, Kharaj Mukherjee and more.
