London Olympics: Mary Kom loses in SF, brings bronze

New Delhi, August 8 (ANI): Five time world champion MC Mary Kom lost to Great Britains Nicola Adams 6 11 in the Womens Flyweight (51kg) semi final on Wednesday, settling for a bronze medal at the London Olympics. The diminutive Indian woman boxer, who carried into the Olympic semi finals the weight of an entire nations expectations, lost a closely fought bout against World number 2 Nicola Adams today. The focused 29 year old Indian mother of twins put up a gritty fight in every round but lost the four round bout 6 points to 11. The score in each round being, 1 3, 1 2, 2 3, 2 3.
