London Olympic 2012: India humiliated in hockey, finish last
London, Aug 11 (ANI): The Indian hockey team slumped to an all time low, when it finished at the bottom of the competition, being beaten a comprehensive 3 2 by South Africa, at the London Olympic 2012 today. India ended their worst ever Olympics in 12th position after failing to win or draw any of their six matches. This was the sixth straight loss for the Indian team, who made a return to the Olympics after failing to qualify for the 2008 Beijing Games. The previous lowest position that the country had occupied was eighth at the 1996 Atlanta Games.
