Aurora talkies in Mumbai which aired a show of the film at 4 in the morning had people bathing a cutout of Rajnikanth with milk and praying for the actor’s well being. Some were seen breaking a coconut in front of a massive Rajni cutout and others started dancing to hit Rajni numbers.
