Kadai Prawns - Recipe
Ingredients: For Marination
Tiger Prawns - 500 gms (Deveined)
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chili powder - 3 tsp
Salt
Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tsp
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Onion - 1 no (chopped)
Saute till brown
Tomatoes - 2 nos (chopped)
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Few Curry leaves
Method:
1. Clean and devein the prawns
2. To that Turmeric powder, chili powder, salt & ginger garlic paste. Mix gently & let it marinate for 1 hour or more
3. Heat oil in a wide sauce pan.
4. Add garam masala powder and onions. Saute till brown
5. Add tomatoes, turmeric powder & curry leaves. Saute till its mushy
6. Add the marinated prawns and mix so that the masala is spread even
7. Close and cook 5 minutes
