KANPUR’S KIDWAI NAGAR TURNS BATTLEGROUND ON VOTING DAY
n Kanpur’s Kidwai Nagar Vidhan Sabha seat things turned rather ugly on election day as supporters of BJP and Congress candidates clashed with each other with some pelting stones. When things started getting out of control then the cops resorted to lathicharge leading to tension for sometime. The two sides resorting to clashes were supporters of BJP candidate Mahesh Trivedi and Congress candidate Ajay Kapoor.
