Jalandhar Hospital: Infant dies, as father cant pay Rs 200
Jalandhar, July 26 (ANI):In a shocking incident, a five day newborn child died in a civil hospital in Jalandhar district of Punjab, as the parents alleged that the doctors had removed the baby from the incubator as they failed to pay Rs.200. The baby girl was born on Friday and was kept in incubator, as it was a premature birth. Father of the dead infant, Sanjeev Kumar said that the removal of the child from the incubator over non payment of dues led to the demise of his baby. Meanwhile, the senior medical officer, Mahender Singh disagreed with the allegations levelled by the family members.
