JAT RIOTS: REPORT INDICTS BJP TOP BRASS FOR INACTION, CONG ATTACKS
Criticising the administrative paralysis that gripped Haryana during the Jat reservation riots that claimed 30 lives, the Prakash Singh committee report said the highest functionaries’ in the government failed to show ‘the kind of guidance, direction and control’ that is expected in a crisis of such proportions. Reacting to the report, the Congress came down heavily on BJP-led Khattar government in Haryana. Speaking to nnis, PL Punia said action should be taken against those who were part of the violence.
