Indian aircrafts sent for rescue, damage to Indian Embassy in Kathmandu: MEA (Part-2)

New Delhi, April 25 (ANI): The MEA on Saturday briefed about the earthquake situation which led to heavy damage in Nepal and parts of India. Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar said that India is ready to send every possible help to the neighbouring country for rescue and relief. He mentioned that Indian aircrafts have been sent for Kathmandu for airlifting purposes. He added that PM Narendra Modi spoke to Nepalese PM Koirala and assured that India will help with whatever relief efforts possible. Jaishankar also appealed the Indians who are stranded in Kathmandu & want to get in touch with their family, to contact the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu.
