IMD withdraws heavy rainfall warning in Mumbai
Mumbai, Jun 10 (ANI): Indian Meteorological department (IMD) on Sunday withdrew earlier released warning over heavy rainfall in Mumbai on Sunday. IMD had earlier issued alerts stating that Maharashtra was going to receive continuous heavy rainfall and warned fishermen too. IMD scientist, Ajay Kumar said, “Mumbai is likely to receive only a few spells of rainfall and there is no increase in rainfall expected in the next few days. Monsoon current has slightly weakened and we have also removed heavy rainfall warning.”
