High tides lash Mumbai shores

Mumbai, June 25 (ANI): High tide was visible at the Gateway of India in Mumbai on Saturday in the wake of heavy rainfall. The Met Department has predicted that the rains will continue for the next 48 hours.The maximum temperature was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius. The residents were seen enjoying the view despite a slight fear of floods. The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) has issued a high tide alert warning people to not go near the beaches. Amid the ongoing high tides and pre-monsoon showers, people are still suffering from water logging and heavy traffic jams.
