Haryana Cancels Felicitation Ceremony For CWG Medalists
Haryana government has decided to cancel the awards ceremony to be held in Panchkula on Thursday to felicitate the state’s Commonwealth Games medal winners.
This comes after some of the state’s CWG winners such as Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia, Manoj Kumar, Sakshi Malik threatened a boycott over a proposed cut in prize money.
