Green corridor between Delhi and Gurgaon transports live heart for transplantation
Gurgoan, Oct 09 (ANI): A green corridor was created by Delhi and Gurgaon police to transport a live heart from Fortis, a private hospital in Gurgaon to AIIMS. The traffic police aimed to cover a distance of 12km in 10 minutes which facilitated successful heart transplantation. The doctor involved in the case said that the family of the brain dead patient went through a great emotional phase, but agreed to donate the organ.
