Ghevar sweetens up festive season
Jaipur, July 29 (ANI): India is a land of festivals and delicacies play their own important role to make the celebrations special. As the auspicious day of Raksha Bandhan is nearing, sale of delicacy, ghevar has picked up in Jaipur. Workers in the populous city of Jaipur, rhythmically work as they prepare one of Indias most popular delicacies, the ghevar. Talking to reporters, Dinesh, a sweet shop owner said that there has been surge in the demand of ghevar made from paneer and milk. Newly married girls are given ghevar as a gift. The gifting of these sweets is locally called Sanjara, which is a part of the culture of Rajasthan.
