Gehlot advocates women s role in Raj devt
Jaipur, Aug 01 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, recently participated in a state level meeting of Mahila congress , in Jaipur. The meeting was aimed at ensuring equal representation to women during ticket distribution, by identifying constituencies where female candidates could win seats. Mahila Congress President Anita Verma expressed dissatisfaction over low number of woman candidates in political appointments by the government, encouraging women activists and workers to come forward to play important roles in the organisation.
