Fresh violence in Assam: 2 killed
Guwahati, Sep 09 (ANI): Two persons, including a CRPF man, were killed and 12 others were injured on the night of Sep 08th as a high intensity blast rocked Paltan Bazar area of Guwahati and a communal clash erupted in Dhubri town in Assam where indefinite curfew has been imposed. Injured people were rushed to nearby Guwahati Medical College Hospital. The explosion took place near Paltan Bazar police station. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the blast and investigation is still underway. Earlier on September 06th, 10 persons, including two policemen, were injured in a bomb blast at Doomdooma in Tinsukia district of Assam.
